 The initial clinic and membership fee is $45 and is due upon registration of the NYSAA Online Clinic. Membership is valid for one year beginning upon full completion of the NYSAA Online Clinic. NYSAA members receive:

Continuing Membership
Administrators receive a membership renewal notice each year. To continue NYSAA membership, the member must re-sign the NYSAA Code of Ethics Pledge and remit a $15 renewal fee. There are no additional training clinics to complete. Administrators who renew their membership with the NYSAA continue to receive all benefits listed above. An updated NYSAA membership card will be mailed.
NYSAA Insurance
Volunteers may be personally liable for the actions of the organization including any incidents that occur during play. Insurance is a proactive step to financially protect volunteer administrators. NYSAA members are covered for General Liability while acting in their capacity as administrators in youth sports activities if they become legally obligated to pay for claims arising out of bodily injury, property damage, and personal injury. NYSAA members are also covered for Directors & Officers Liability which covers league administrators while acting in their capacity as administrators in youth sports activities if they become legally obligated to pay for claims arising out of wrongful acts in the running of the league or team, employment practices, person injury or publishers liability. Examples of potentially covered lawsuits include: Discrimination (age, race, sex, handicap); Failure to enforce rules or bylaws; Failure to deliver services; Violation of State and Federal Laws (Anti Trust, IRS, EEOC); Suppression of First Amendment Rights (speech, expression, etc.); Failure to properly manage league financial affairs. The coverage limit is $1,000,000 per occurrence with a $2,000,000 general aggregate (total limit). There is a sublimit for abuse and molestation claims of $1,000,000 per occurrence with a $1,000,000 general aggregate (total limit). General Liability coverage and Directors & Officers coverage both include defense.
