The comprehensive Onsite Academy for Youth Sports Administrators is designed as an interpersonal, educational, networking opportunity that no youth sports administrator should miss. Attendees will gain a foundation of knowledge as well as new perspectives on developing workable solutions to challenges and issues faced while on the job. A professional faculty from around the country presents the information in a combination of seminars, discussion groups and role playing exercises. At the conclusion of the Onsite training, participants are provided access to the Online Academy to take their examination. Upon successful completion of the Onsite training and the Online Exam, the Certified Youth Sports Administrator (CYSA) credential is awarded.

The Academy is the only opportunity for youth sports administrators to earn the Certified Youth Sports Administrator (CYSA) credential. Currently, more than 2,400 CYSAs have graduated from the Academy.

The Onsite Academy is usually scheduled over a two-day time frame. Comprehensive sessions are presented that include group discussions, exercises and role playing. Short breaks are taken periodically throughout the Onsite Academy to give participants plenty of networking opportunities. Attendees are responsible for their accommodations and meals.

The registration cost for the Onsite Academy is $395. This fee includes all Onsite and Online materials, the exam, a certificate upon completion as well as a polo shirt and continued access to the CYSA Only portion of the Online Academy for the entire two-year CYSA cycle.

An ONSITE Academy will be held February 7, 2012 as a special conference training at the OPRA Conference in sandusky, Ohio.
